Data Processing

National Field Services uses either Surveycraft or Quanvert and SPSS as the initial data entry point for all survey analysis and entry. We can support and provide data in all data formats, with particular emphasis on Quantum, Surveycraft, SPSS and ASCII outputs.

We offer high-end analysis packages run by senior qualified data analysts.

NFS are committed to quality data management within each step of the research project. 

Coding

All new coders undertake two weeks office training and for the following four weeks all their work is 100% checked and the results shown to the coder on a daily basis. Where possible, code frames are calibrated on PC using word processing software. Australian Bureau of Statistics codes of Occupation and Standard Industry classification is used where applicable.

Data Entry

Data is entered at source and have in-built logic and consistency checks at data entry. Data type designations, single, multiple response or integers and their ranges etc. form part of this system and provide additional integrity checks.

Data Output

Cross tabulations and tables can be produced from Surveycraft or QUANTIME. Specifications are developed in conjunction with research staff and the client requirements
